Often using natural curves, and character wood, we take pride in adding flair to your home.  Trained in traditional European joinery, we strive to produce the finest quality at an affordable price.  With a fully equipped cabinet shop, we offer solid wood staircases, kitchens, flooring, solid wood doors and windows, all locally made and at a competitive price.

Situated just south of Nakusp, McDonald Creek Provincial Park is one of a system of four provincial parks on the Arrow Lake reservoir. With facilities on the eastern shoreline, it is a holiday destination for swimming, boating, jet skiing, water skiing and fishing opportunities. It features several kilometers of fine sandy beach, waterfront sites and open grassy meadows. You can always find a quiet spot for yourself, try some beachcombing, or join in the fun at the main swimming area. A boat launch is available, offering good fishing opportunities for kokanee, bull and rainbow trout – a tempting invitation for anglers of all ages.

The Arrow Reservoir bisects McDonald Creek Provincial Park and protects lakeshore riparian habitat on the east side and forested upland habitat on the west side. This combination offers outdoor recreational opportunities in a unique forested/lakeside setting.

In 2011, the Ministry of Forests and Natural Resource Operations converted Nakusp and Area Community Forests (NACFOR)’s 5 Year Probationary Community Forest licence to a 25 Year Agreement.   The conversion to a long term tenure was another important step in NACFOR’s ongoing evolution as a community-based forest licence.

The Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that maintains a role of leadership and advocacy in the Nakusp and District business community. We believe in the power of community to drive change and make a difference in the world.

The Nakusp Museum exhibits some of the fascinating history of the Nakusp area. It is home to over 6000 artifacts of early life on the Arrow Lakes.
