The citizens of Nakusp and the Arrow Lakes region are proud of their communities. The region has a vibrant and diverse economy and a quality of life that is second to none. The Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce is a service organization which supports the business community by promoting the Arrow Lakes region economically, socially and environmentally.

Locally, the N&DCC works closely with the Village of Nakusp and the Nakusp and Area Development Board to develop and implement strategies to encourage economic and social development of the area. The N&DCC supports the hosting of the 2010 Winter Olympics in our Province and is represented on the Nakusp Olympic Opportunities Committee and the Kootenay-Rockies Spirit of 2010 Committee.
